Future Use

State Center is unique in many ways, most notably the public- private partnership that will maximize private investment for the greater good of taxpayers, the community, the City and the State.

State Center will be created “for the people, by the people,” in a transparent, all inclusive format that includes regular input from a citizen-led neighborhood alliance – a congress of sorts – that is allowing area residents, employees, businesses and other stakeholders to participate and share their voice as the project unfolds.

Bound by Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Howard Street, Hoffman Street and Madison Avenue, the site is located directly on the State Center Metro Station, across from the Cultural Center Light Rail Station, offering an unparalleled transit location. Coupled with a highly sustainable, LEED Silver certified development program, State Center will usher in a new era for smart use of urban space with amazing buildings to work in, smartly constructed homes to live in, and a host of convenient urban amenities and public spaces where residents and tourists can play, dine and unwind.

State Center is a collaborative private-public partnership between State Center LLC, the State of Maryland and the City of Baltimore.
